Schimpf, 63, formerly of Glenview, Feb. 27, father of Lisa (Eric) Chastain and John Schimpf Jr.; grandfather of William and Dalton Chastain; brother of Frank (Dorothy) Schimpf, Anna (Walter) Milinichuk, Thomas Rich, Donald (Antoinette) Rich, Patrick (Carol) Schimpf and the late William (Harriet) Schimpf, Albert (Lillian) Schimpf and Mary Schimpf; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
