I am a Catholic who took a different view of the Feb. 16 Gallery cartoon on the Commentary page that caused your reader John Fruscione to accuse the Tribune of “Catholic bashing” (Voice of the people, Feb.24).
While he was offended by the cartoon, I’m offended by the way the Catholic leadership has totally mishandled the pedophilia problem, and I think the cartoon was quite appropriate–if not long overdue.
