Louisville’s men’s basketball team needed a break the day after upsetting fourth-ranked Cincinnati and coach Rick Pitino knew it.

So instead of practice, he took them bowling.

“We needed that day mentally and physically,” said Pitino, whose team still has a regular-season game left Saturday with Charlotte.

A buck’s a buck

While 1 percent of Wisconsin residents have donated to the Lambeau Field renovations through a new checkoff on state income tax forms, Pat Webb, executive director of the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District, is pleased.

“Having this additional revenue keeps us on the path of retiring this debt as soon as possible,” Webb said.
