A redesign of the Tempo comics pages begins today. Two new strips join the lineup, “Out of the Gene Pool” (right) by Matt Janz, and “The Fusco Brothers” by J.C. Duffy. Also part of the repackaging are the puzzle “Scrabble Grams” and a rotation of panels, including “Natural Selection” by Russ Wallace, “Speed Bump” by Dave Coverly, “Drawing a Crowd” by Benita Epstein and “Bizarro” by Dan Piraro. The strips “Fred Basset” and “Bound & Gagged,” as well as the Jumble Crosswords puzzle, are discontinued.
