Robert Lee Wallace, beloved husband of Wanda, died March 2, 2002 (see today’s or tomorrow’s news Obituary). Born September 28, 1922 in Moline, IL. Served in U.S.M.C. in Radio Intelligence at Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal and Guam during WWII. Retired in 1984 as Director of Revenue Accounting at Commonwealth Edison after 32 years of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to PADS Homeless Coalition, P.O. Box 1176, Homewood, IL 60430. Visitation 1 p.m. Wednesday March 6, and 2 p.m. Memorial service at St. Paul’s Community Church, 18200 Dixie Hwy., Homewood, Illinois.
