Ji-Yeon Yuh explains in her commentary why she thinks it was a terrible mistake for President Bush to refer to the North Korean government as a “despotic regime.”

She ignores the reality of that regime’s weapons-of-mass-destruction program, promotion of terrorism and starvation of its own people.

She repeatedly calls for us to make friends with the North Korean regime.

She even argues that North Korea cannot be a terrorist regime because “it has signed seven of 12 international anti-terrorism agreements.”

If Yuh had been in Munich in 1938, she would have undoubtedly been delighted with British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain “making friends” with Hitler.

Using her logic, the Munich Pact signed by Hitler would be proof of Hitler’s peaceful intentions.
