Eilleen E. Jassak, nee Sherman, died on March 4, 2002, at the age of 85. She was born on September 4, 1916 in LaCrosse, WI. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Edward G. Jassak of West Chicago, IL; loving mother of Michael (Susan), Brookfield, WI, Patricia (Robert Curley), Chicago, IL, and Timothy (Sherry), Oakdale, MN; devoted grandmother to Matthew, Elizabeth, Sarah, Patrick, Caroline, Kathryn and Michael; dearest sister of Evelyn, Charlotte, Annabelle, and the late Frederick Sherman; fond sister-in-law of Aileen, Elliott, and Lorraine; aunt of Lisa Ann (Randy Dobbs) and other nieces and nephews; lifetime friend of Iona and Norman Eppell of Pinehurst, NC. Eilleen “Jackie” was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her children, grandchildren, family members and friends were a source of joy, pride, and comfort to her throughout her life.
