Meyer Weinberg, 81, of Chicago, loving husband for 58 years of Erica Weinberg; devoted father of David (Deborah), Daniel, Carl (Beth) and Benjamin (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Anna, Eric, Max, Kevin, Eli and Leo; brother of the late Joe (Minette) and Sam (Nancy) Weinberg. Longtime author, editor and civil rights activist. He was the author of 18 books. His most recent book, ‘A Short History of American Capitalism’ can be found at www.newhistory.org. Interment private.
