I looked at my March 2 Tribune and saw another sickening story of a mother killing one and wounding another of her two children (“`Very nice’ doctor charged after son is slain at home,” Page 1).
I don’t know what is going on; first Susan Smith drowning her kids in a lake, then Marilyn Lemak drugging her three kids and smothering them with her own hands, then Andrea Yates allegedly drowning her five children in a bathtub and now this.
I don’t know if it’s biological or what, and I don’t care. But judges in this country better think twice before handing over kids to their mothers more than 90 percent of the time in divorce custody cases.
