“Abolishing the civil jury system” was very logical. But we need a comprehensive alternative to our jury system before it is abolished. This is not meant to fault the writer’s treatise. It is a plea to those who presume to be qualified to explain first what is wrong with our system, and then please tell us how it could be corrected and replaced. The old adage goes something like: Don’t just tell us how it can’t be done; tell us how it can be done.
