Planning is under way to tackle Naperville’s road and intersection improvements this construction season.
City engineers have listed 10 areas that will be the site of construction projects, traffic signal installation or utility work.
Those areas will be designated construction work zones with reduced speed limits of 25 m.p.h.
The following areas are included: 95th Street from Illinois Highway 59 to 248th Street; Naperville Boulevard at Riverwoods Drive; 103rd Street at Book Road; 104th Street at Book; Book at Leverenz Road; 111th Street at 248th Street; High Grove Lane from Glacier Park Avenue to Quincy Avenue; Glacier Park from Illinois 59 to High Grove; Quincy Avenue from Brookshire Court to Ogden Avenue; and Modaff Road from 87th Street to Cedarbrook Road.
The timing of the projects has not been established, said Robert Marros, an engineering technician for the city.
More information on road construction will be available in coming weeks on the city’s Web site, www.Naperville.il.us.
