Dr. Peter Keck DDS, 79 years old, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, in Winterhaven, FL, formerly of Griffith, IN. He was born in Frankfurt On der Oder, Germany, on February 17, 1923. He was a graduate of Valparaiso University and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in Special Services Division during WWII. He loved to play competitive contract bridge and was a member of the American Society of Germans from Russia. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward; surviving are five children, Kristine Van Dyke, Aurora, CO, Peter E., Fremont, IN, Jonathan M., Fort Wayne, IN, Philip E., of Frankfort, IN, Klara M., Spencerville, IN; five grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. Visitation was held in Auburn, FL, March 9. Burial was at Oak Glen Cemetery, Lansing, IL, March 13. Arrangements were made by Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, Lansing, IL.
