John Joseph Weiss, age 86, of Wilmette, WWII Army Veteran, former Chief Representative-In-Trust of the U.S. Treasury, beloved husband of Elizabeth, nee Larrabee; loving father of John Jay (Katie), Laura (Richard) Kracum and Susan; dear grandfather of John and James Kracum, Catherine and Joseph Weiss; brother of Elanor (the late Chester) Nielsen and Arthur R. (Mary Jane, nee Voss) Weiss; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette.
