Rose Marie Brophy, 65 years, of Oswego, IL, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Alden of Waterford in Aurora, IL. She was born March 7, 1937, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Adeline, nee Anderson, Fisher. She was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL and the Disabled Amercian Veterans Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Robert Brophy; a daughter, Lynn (Martine) Ruiz of Oswego, IL; a son, George Lewis (Kimberly) Smith, of Elwood, IL; four grandchildren, Heather (Frank) Islami, Kristin Smith, George L. Smith Jr. and Ashley Smith; a brother, Earl (Marilyn) Fisher of Mt. Prospect, IL and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Sunday March 17, 2002, from 1 to 5 p.m. at McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd. in Oswego, IL. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2002, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded to the wishes of the family at River Hills Crematory in Batavia, IL.
