Dana E. Spencer, nee Martino, 39, late of Chicago, IL, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 in Aspen, CO in an avalanche while skiing. Survived by her husband, Steven L. Spencer of Chicago; her parents, Daniel and Phyllis Martino; two brothers, David and Daniel II, both of Kenosha; one stepson, Christopher W. (Tori) Spencer of Marrietta, CA; one stepdaughter, Stacy L. Spencer of San Diego, CA; three stepgrandchildren; her paternal grandparents, John and Angeline Martino; her maternal grandmother, Hattie Sepanski, all of Kenosha, WI. Friends and family are asked to meet at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial for Dana Martino Spencer on Wednesday, March 20, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Proko Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial remembrances in Dana’s name would be appreciated to: the Aviation Scholarship Fund at Gateway Aviation School and the Jane Cremer Cancer Foundation.
