Celia Kominsky, nee Jacobs, 91, daughter of the late David and Sarah, nee Slosberg, Jacobs; beloved wife of the late Julius; dear mother of Arnold Blair (Frances); grandmother of Jill (Jordan) Gelb and Andrea (Brent) Novoselsky; great-grandmother of Sydney and Jared Gelb and Alec, Zachary and Mackenzie Novoselsky; devoted sister of Mona “Red” (Leo) Widen, Donald P. (Dinah) Jacobs and the late Jules (the late Beverly) Jacobs. Mrs. Kominsky was a founder and board member of many charitable organizations that supported medical causes and provided financial aid, including Cancer Prevention Center, Asthmatic Children’s Aid, the Dysfunctioning Child Center and the Susan Reese, Ann Seifer and Evelyn Steinberg Memorial Clubs.
