G. Howard Kraft, 93, retired Vice President of Engineering for Kraft Foods and son of one of the company’s founders, passed away in Houston, Texas on February 28, 2002, following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Wilmette. Mr. Kraft was the last living of five siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Marina Kraft Pita of Houston, Texas; three grandsons, Howard Kraft Pita and wife, Shannon del Prado, of Miami, Florida, Mark Edward Pita of Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Andrew Pita of Houston, Texas; and one great-grandson, Lucian Kraft Pita of Miami, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at Winnetka Presbyterian Church in Winnetka on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of G.
