Virginia E. Hammer, nee Voves, 79, beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Patricia (Donald) Eichman, Barbara (James) Schaudt and Suzanne Hammer; proud grandmother of Clark Comstock, Elizabeth and Missy Nystedt; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hammer was the president of the Lisle Lions Club, president of the Lisle Unit HCE and 2nd Vice Chairperson of DuPage HCE. Funeral Services will be held Monday 9:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Rte. 53 and Short St., Lisle, to St. Scholastica Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
