Michael W. Jacobson, born Feb. 13, 1949 in Kewanee, IL, passed away at his home in Scottsdale, AZ on March 20, 2002. Mike owned and operated Jacobson & Associates, LLC, a Healthcare Consulting firm. Mike was formerly employed by Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Blue Cross Association and Coopers & Lybrand in Chicago, IL. At his bedside during his short illness were his wife Linda of 32 years; also present were his children, Johnna Washburn of Kewanee, IL, Christopher (Chris) of Oak Forest, IL and Colleen of Scottsdale, AZ; during his transition, Mike was surrounded by his only sister, Kathy Gillespie of Kewanee, IL and brothers Arthur of Riverside, CA, Ernie of Pesotum, IL, Richy of Sedalia, MO and David of Kewanee, IL; he is also survived by two grandsons, David Michael and Christian Thomas Washburn of Kewanee, IL. Mike should be remembered for his courage and strength throughout his brief illness. Now may he rest in peace and his goodwill live in all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m., followed by Funeral Services at 3 p.m. at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice is requested in his honor.
