I voted on Tuesday. It took me all of 20 minutes from the time I walked out the front door to the time I returned. In contrast to that “sacrifice” are the hundreds of thousands of men and women who have lost their lives fighting our wars, so we Americans would retain our right to live in a democracy.
Why vote, indeed.
