Bernice Boye, 97, of Bridgman, MI, passed away Friday, March 22, 2002 at her home. Loving daughter of the late John F. and Vada Boye; dear friend of Louise Christensen of Bridgman. Miss Boye was employed for 46 years by the Chicago Board of Education as an elementary, high school and college teacher; principal and district superintendent. Funeral Tuesday, March 26, at 11 a.m., at Boyd Funeral Home, followed by visitation at the funeral home until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Bridgman Public Library, 4460 Lake Street, Bridgman, MI 49106 will be appreciated.
