Peter M. Getman, 85, of Evanston, formerly of Skokie, died March 16th. Treasured by his late wife Harriett, late son Peter, daughters Suzie (Dick Hackl) and Meg (Mike Swartz); proud Boppa of Peter, Matthew, Melissa and Alex; brother of Mary Carroll and Nancy Fontanese and the late Charlie, John, Dave and Ted Getman. After over 40 years at Pratt and Lambert, he ‘Retired’ to Prudential Preferred Properties. He was the consummate gentleman, friend, golfer and volunteer. Memorial Mass at St. Mary Church, 1012 Lake St. Evanston Monday April 8th 2 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life at the Huss Gallery of the King Home, 1555 Oak Ave. Evanston.
