Patrick A. Heffernan, age 65, of Glenview, died at home surrounded by his family. Husband of Carol Heffernan, nee Chrusciel; father of Patricia Ann Heffernan (J. Patrick Rowan), Mary Heffernan (Christopher) LaPata, and Jeanne Marie Heffernan; brother of James (JoAnne) Heffernan; brother-in-law of Barbara (Robert) Golbach; and loving relative and friend of many. University of Notre Dame, B.A., 1958 and Harvard Law School, 1961. Retired partner of Hopkins & Sutter of Chicago where he practiced law for more than 35 years. Veteran of the US Army.
