I find it laughable that both Pat O’Malley and Corinne Wood are refusing to back Jim Ryan as the Republican nominee for governor. I question their dedication to the Republican Party.
Would they prefer a Democrat be elected? If the answer is yes, then they aren’t really Republicans.
Wood expected her political base to be women Democrats crossing over to vote for her, so why didn’t she just run as a Democrat?
And O’Malley would be better allied to Pat Robertson than the Illinois Republican Party.
Both O’Malley and Wood are poor sports who are whining about losing after spending millions of their personal wealth. The Republican Party is better off without them.
