Although I do not support the expansion of Wrigley Field, I find it ironic that Mayor Richard Daley stands by the people of Lakeview and the results of a voter referendum on a privately funded venture, when he failed to even ask for the citizens’ opinion on the publicly funded eyesore on our lakefront known as the renovated Soldier Field.
