Nelson, March 28, 2002, age 96, born Oct. 15, 1905 in Homewood, late of Waterford Estates, Hazel Crest, beloved husband of the late Laura, nee Seihnholz (1996); dear brother of Jospeh (Hilda) Dahlman of Chetek, WI; survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired in 1971 from Illinois Central RailRoad after 50 years of service. Member of Wally Burns Post #8077 VFW, Matteson Post #474 AL and Salem Lutheran Church. WWII US Army Veteran. Resting at the Tews Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Hwy., Homewood, Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. Services Tuesday, 11 a.m. Interment Saint John Lutheran Cemetery.
