Seven years after he was last seen on “Days of Our Lives,” actor Thaao Penghlis is coming back to the series. The actor played Tony DiMera who did away with himself in 1995. Penghlis’ return is likely to take place this summer, but his newest character has not been revealed, although it’s possible that he will turn out to be Chloe’s father.
Meanwhile, a casting search is under way for a new actress to play the role of Billie, as that character is expected to reappear on “Days” in the months to come. Lisa Rinna and Krista Allen have both acted the part before. This month, Tanya Boyd returns to “Days” as Lexie’s mother, Celeste.
Dylan Cash has taken over the role of Michael on “General Hospital.”
