Catherine L. Collins, prior resident of Chicago, passed away on March 28, 2002. She is survived by her two daughters, Ginny (Jack) Litz and Cathy (Jim) McPartlin; her three sons, Bob (Carese), Jim (Jeanne) and Bill Collins; her two sisters-in-law, Delores Gill and Margaret Gill; her 13 grandchildren, Cathy Ann Collins, Patti (Matt) Simmons, Peggy (Aaron) Quick, Julie, Suzanne and Christine Litz, Ryan, Leah and Devin Collins, Bill and Brian Collins, Jim and Dan McPartlin; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel Churilla and Catie Simmons. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert E.; her two brothers, Judge Joseph Gill and John Gill; and her three sisters, Virginia Powell, Frances Riley, and Margaret Gill. The mass of christian burial will be 10 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2002 at Mayslake Village Chapel, 1801 35th Street, Oak Brook, IL, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
