Susan Peppard, age 62, of Monmouth Beach, died Friday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a systems engineer for Youngtech, Edison for 3 years. Born in New York City, she had lived in Red Bank before coming to Monmouth Beach six years ago. She was an active contributor for Planned Parenthood. Surviving are her husband, Harold A. Wasserman; a son, Harold S. Wasserman of Monmouth Beach, two daughters, Rebecca Pinto of Belmont, CA and Katherine Wasserman of Elmhurst, IL; two sisters, Jane Crawford of Attleboro, MA and Nan Carr of Litchfield, CT; and a grandson, Daniel Pinto. In her memory, memorial donations are requested to the Center for Hospice Care, 187 Millburn Ave, Millburn, NJ 07041. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
