Douglas Owen Smith, 90, formerly of the Georgian of Evanston, the Northwest Side, and Richmond, VA, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 26, 2002, beloved wife of the late Franklin C. Former president and member of the Edison Park Womens Club, the Literary Club of Chicago, and the Central Church of Chicago, where she wrote “The Central Line” newspaper of her church.
