Albert L. Zibble, a lifelong resident of Wilmette and retired Wilmette firefighter, died on March 29, 2002 at the age of 89. Mr. Zibble is survived by his son, James and daughter, Karen (Charles) Ryan; he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; and son, Richard; his brothers, Herman and Howard and sister, Ruth Osborn; he is also survived by his grandchildren, David and Daniel Zibble, Rebecca (David) Rolston, Jennifer (Kent) Peterson, Kathleen, Michael and Thomas Ryan; his great-grandchildren, Marshall, Jennifer and Meghan Rolston, Daniel, Katherine and Abigail Peterson; his sisters-in-law, Helen Zibble, Norma Kanitz, Hilda Kirchoff and Eleanor (William) Grothpietz; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday 4 to 8 p.m. at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette. Funeral Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1235 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette.
