Andrew A. Marek, age 86, March 27, 2002, late of Plainfield, survived by his wife, Irene, nee Rosinski, Marek; children, Larry (Jean) Marek and Joan (the late Lawrence Falbo) Marek; grandchildren, Don (fiancee, Deanna) Marek, Bill (Nancy) Marek, Julie (Brad) Griffith, Emma (Derek Rushing) Falbo, Michael (fiancee, Jenna) Falbo and Matthew Falbo; brothers, John (Martha) Marek and Joe Marek; preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Julia Marek; sister, Anna Klein; and brothers, Frank, Bruno and Stanley Marek. Born in Chicago, Mr. Marek was a retired machinist and a lifetime member of the Polish National Alliance. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville, on Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Romeoville from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Justice, IL.
