Cathyrn Such, 63, of Lake Summerset, died on April 4, 2002, in Medina Nursing Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Cathyrn Skultety on June 6, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the loving daughter of James Skultety and Lenora Skultety Mamola. Married Ed Such in 1963. Being an avid golfer, Cathy was a long time member of Decatur Lake Country Club in Brodhead, WI, and loved to travel with her mother. Survivors include her mother, Lenora Mamola of Lake Summerset; brother, Fred Skultety of Anacortes, WA; numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Predeceased by father, James Skultety; husband, Ed Such and brother, Leroy Skultety. Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2002, at St. Thecla Catholic Church, in Niles, IL. Burial will be in the St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, IL. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at McCorkle Funeral Home, 101 Main St., Durand, IL 1-800-213-7070. A scripture service at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Freeport Memorial Hospice.
