Lydia Schafer, nee Yaeger, age 92, of Prospect Heights formerly of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late Walter; sister of Bruno (Pearl) Yaeger and the late Emily, Rose, Frieda, Edward, Walter and Ernest; aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday. In state at The New Apostolic Church, 1740 Rand Rd.
