Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

By the fourth inning of the Cubs’ first game of 2002, I had turned off the TV and was happily listening to Pat Hughes and Ron Santo on the radio.

Chip Caray has not improved one bit since the strong criticism he received last year. He prattles constantly, overtalking over his partner. Caray is so self-absorbed that broadcasting the game action as it happens is secondary to him.

Watching the TV and listening to the radio gives us fans the best coverage by far. Bring back Steve Stone, please.
