Many people say Israel stole Palestinian land and should give it back. Would those same people be willing to give much of the United States back to the Native Americans who had lived here for hundreds of years? No doubt the Palestinians should have their own state. But why should Israel back down when the Israelis were victorious in 1948 and 1967 and have proven to be a stronger force?
