Robert E. Lee, formerly from Chicago, was called Home to God on April 12, 2002. Beloved husband of Bertha, nee Cisek; cherished father of Karen (Dave) Carlson, Kevin (Pam) Lee, Kristen (Larry) Lindgren, Keith (Mary, nee Quinn) Lee; loving grandfather of Tanner, Brandon, Karisa and Jonathon Lee, Eric, Justin and Jennifer Carlson, Lauren and Grant Lindgren; dear brother of Tom (Violet) Lee and Alice Lee, and Marilyn (Carl) Emmel. Robert was born in Chicago, Sept. 21, 1931 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a dedicated Fireman for the City of Chicago for 35 years. Resting at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176) Crystal Lake, IL 60014, Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. Resting at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tuesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. funeral mass.
