Jan van der Graaf, age 68, of Lake Villa, IL, died April 12, 2002 at home, born Jan. 2, 1934 in Holland. Owner, founder and chemist at Slide Products. Survived by his stepmother Irma; his companion Gisela; two brothers Wim (Marlene) and Max (Katie) and one sister Margaret (David) Richie; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Marsh Funeral Home of Lindenhurst, 1840 E. Grand Ave. Burial private.
