M. Robert Krag, beloved husband of Angela, nee LaCesa; loving father of Katie (Mike) Bartindale, Bob and Jim; dear grandfather of Matthew, Ellen and Gina; fond brother of the late Alicia Riberto; uncle of several. Awarded the Purple Heart in WWII. His interests were varied and sometimes adventurous including working in a Maine lumber camp, the Copper Mines of Butte, Montana, spent time in the jungles of Eastern Ecuador and later lectured on these experiences. Spent 12 years as Director of Alumni Development at DePaul University. He was a licensed pilot and an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor. Visitation Friday 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home, 6938 W. North Ave. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. to St. Vincent Ferrer Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven.
