Wilmer Umland, a lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, Coast Guard Veteran of WWII, survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie, nee Seehausen; father of Diane (Bob) Wunderlich, Robert (Diane) Umland, Patricia (Mark) Mantel and James (Sharon) Umland; brother, Earl (Elaine) Umland; grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of one.
