E. Fern Ginakos, nee Andrews, age 90, preceded in death by her husband, Steve; and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by three nieces and a nephew. Mrs. Ginakos served in WWII as a U.S. Navy Nurse and was a 50 year member of Chicago Police Dept. American Legion Post. No. 207. She also taught graduate students at University of Illinois at Chicago (RN research). Family and friends will meet Monday morning at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 733 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
