Irving Harris’ contention that contraception and abortion caused the drop in New York’s murder rate is based on a seriously flawed study. But let’s assume some non-existent study could demonstrate what he asserts. All statistics show African-Americans have abortions at a rate three times higher than their proportion in the population.
Should we, therefore, conclude that if blacks aborted more, America would have a lower murder rate?
This flawed “study” is just racism dressed up as science.
