Christine Querfeld, died peacefully at age 87 after a long illness. She was the daughter of Grace Adkisson and Herman Querfeld and is survived by many cousins. In her lifetime she was devoted to music, was an accomplished pianist and has been the director of the American Conservatory of Music. She was a major benefactor of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Feinberg School of Medicine.
