Some employers are taking a March Supreme Court ruling that denied back pay for undocumented workers and running with it all the way.

The court ruled only on the back pay issue and did not discuss any other rights, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times, but since the ruling, a Kentucky poultry worker filing a sexual harassment claim was asked to show her immigration papers, as was a meatpacking plant worker in Nebraska filing a workers’ compensation claim.
