Cardinal Francis George would like to see rehabilitated priests accused of “only one” sex abuse case be allowed a second chance to serve in a parish (Page 1, April 25). Isn’t that sweet? The good cardinal thinks it’s more important to give a pedophile a second chance than it is to give the parish children the security of knowing there is no chance of a “rehabilitated” pedophile being in their midst.
It’s obvious why the Catholic Church’s leadership is even dealing with this perversion. They protect their own above all else.
