Patrick J. Pitlik, 59 years old, succumbed to a three-year battle with cancer and passed away on Saturday, April 27, devoted husband to Judy, nee Lengyel, Pitlik, married 37 years; loving father to Sharon (Joe) Canniff, James (Kelly), Ronald (Cathy) and Mark (Eden); proud Papa to Joseph III, Patrick, John, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Clare and Noah. Former LTV steelworker and lifelong Cubs fan. Services Tuesday, April 30, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235 119th Street, Whiting, IN 46394. Memorial service May 1 at Baran’s Chapel followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John Church, 1849 Lincoln Ave., Whiting, IN 46394.
