Well, you fought the good fight against the Soldier Field debacle; thanks for the effort (“Bears win stadium ruling; Solider Field rehab can proceed despite benefits to the team,” Page 1, April 26). Years from now, when Chicago and Illinois taxpayers shake their heads and sigh at the continuing construction project that is O’Hare and the yet-to-be-green Millennium Park, at least they’ll get to drive by the ludicrous Daleybowl and laugh their heads off. Maybe that will be adequate payback.
