Bette Thompson, 94, died April 18, 2002 in Tulsa, OK. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 9, 1907. After living in Northern Illinois for most of her life she resided in Palm Desert, CA from 1987 to 2000. She was an avid golfer, belonging to the Monterey Country Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Percival Thompson; and is survived by her son, Paul Thompson and daughter-in-law Kay Thompson of Tulsa; her daughter Jane Kaplan and son-in-law Jim Kaplan of Williamsburg, VA; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Methodist Church in Woodstock, IL on May 24, 2002 at 2 p.m.
