A local man reported recently interrupting a burglar in his apartment in the 500 block of Gundersen Drive. He told police that he woke up and saw a man crawling out a window of his living room. The man left behind a stereo system, which was found under the window, police said. Police said they used a dog to track the burglar’s scent, which ended in a nearby apartment building.
