Finch, age 79, of Lyons, IL, loving husband of Harriet, nee Zima; dearest father of Louis and Mary Lu (Thomas) Karacson; cherished grandfather of Jennifer; fond brother of Frances (late Wilbert) Edmond, Thomas (Donna), Frederick “Ted” (Joan) and the late Maurice (late Ruth) Finch; many other relatives and very close friends. Funeral Services Friday morning, May 10, 2002, from Tower Home For Funerals, 4007 S. Joliet Ave., (but not Joliet Rd. – between Harlem and First Ave., just south of Ogden Ave.), Lyons, IL to St. Hugh Church for mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Mr. Finch held many offices in the Lions Club and working with the Braille Clubs, also Boy Scouts of America, a Troop Leader, a Commissioner, Wood Badge Publisher 1978, Silver Beavers, TWA10, an official photographer for all. He followed his father’s steps. Picked up copy of Frank Finch and Dick Dilworth, Founders of Electro-Motive Division of General Motors, McCook, IL Plant.
